On Monday September 28th at Yoshi’s Jazz Club in Oakland,CA is the CD release party for Bill Ortiz’s “From Where I Stand”.
Along with a few potential surprises there will be:

John Seppala on Keyboards (Lenny Williams, Dave Ellis),
Marc van Wageningen on Bass ( Sheila E, Tower Of Power)
Deszon Clairborne on Drums (Charles Brown, Ornette Coleman)
Josh Jones on Percussion and Drums (Don Cherry, Steve Coleman)
Tickets are $16 in advance and on-line, and $20 at the door on the day of the show.
